Calf huts Excellent facility to minimize contact between calves. Important to clean and disinfect huts between calves. Some types of huts do not ventilate well in the summer.   Cryptosporidium is an intestinal parasite that can affect many species. The calves become infected when they eat infectious oocysts (Crypto eggs) from feces or contaminated feed or water.
